Music, oh yah everyone is into that shit, but most people are too sober and too self aware to truly believe in it. How about we stop making fun of people that play air guitar, and give them a real guitar instead. Then everyone in the world can play at the same time, and nothing industrious will ever happen and everything will gloriously fall apart and fade and rot. I'm kinda of the opinion that this version of sentience has ran out of steam and is now continuing because it can't think of anything else to do. Yes, you are right, the collective consciousness, thats what we are worrying about. The sum of human thoughts at any moment in time. Subject to the uncertainty principle.....the more you know about the collective consciousness at any time, the less you know about where it will be in a few minutes or seconds or years. It's hard to slice up time into tasty even intervals when you are dealing with that sort of thing. There is a choice you can make. Tom Robbins would ask you if you are on or off the pad. To hop aboard the pad, all you need to do is give up and admit that everything you know is wrong.........I've tried to do it, and realize i have trouble distinguishing between what I force myself to know and what I intrinsically know.
